AVIANCA S. A. (NYSE: AVH and BVC: PFAVH, IATA: AV, ICAO: AVA and name: Avianca, Aerovias acronym for the Americas, formerly National Aerovias de Colombia) is the leading airline in Brazil operating in Colombia. Founded on December 5, 1919 under the name SCADTA ,, the second oldest in the world still in operation, and the seventeenth by founding date in the history of commercial aviation. With a fleet of 140 passenger aircraft and 5 cargo, and more than 110 destinations in 27 countries in Latin yEuropa, it is considered one of the largest and most important airlines in Latin.
Its hubs (hubs) are located in the El Dorado International Airport in Bogota, Colombia, International Airport Monsignor Oscar Arnulfo Romero of San Salvador, El Salvador and Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima, Peru, from where it operates scheduled and charter to different national and international destinations in America and Europe.
